Agents invited to apply for three-night challenge in support of St Catherine’s Hospice
Are you ready for a challenge? Grecotel Hotels & Resorts will host its second overseas charity hike in May 2026 – and you could be part of this epic adventure.
The luxury hospitality brand is seeking 10 plucky agents to join it on a three-night trip to Kalamata, Greece, where the group will hike to the summit of Mount Taygetos and traverse Ridomo Gorge. The challenge will raise vital funds for St Catherine’s Hospice in West Sussex, which provides physical and emotional support to those living with a life-limiting or terminal condition.
Grecotel offers a unique collection of iconic luxury hotels and resorts in spectacular locations across 15 coveted Greek destinations. Its diverse portfolio contains a spectrum of 40 properties, each with distinctive character and deep roots in the local history, culture and flair. As the guardian of authentic ethos and heartfelt hospitality, Grecotel knows Greece like no other.
During the course of the trip, the group will stay at the recently renovated Grecotel Filoxenia Kalamata, home to a dazzling inventory of 162 refreshed rooms and suites, a new-look Olive Spa and a shiny new beach club on the shores of Messinia.
The trip will be hosted by Grecotel’s sales and markets strategy director Kostas Sinis and Aspire’s UK account manager Toni Austin.
It marks Grecotel’s second charity hike following a successful inaugural event in September 2025, which saw the brand joined by nine agents in Crete. The group scaled the island’s tallest mountain, Mount Psiloritis, and Europe’s second-longest gorge in support of Breast Cancer Now, raising more than £10,000 for the charity – smashing their initial fundraising target of £5,000.
Sinis said: “I am beyond honoured to organise Grecotel Hotels & Resorts’ second charity hike. The event follows the great success of our inaugural charity hike in 2025, which took place in Crete at Grecotel Creta Palace and saw us raise more than £10,000 for Breast Cancer Now – a truly impressive and vital charity so close to so many of our hearts.
“This year, we are choosing to support St Catherine’s Hospice. The charity first came to our attention at the Aspire Awards last November, where Toni delivered an appeal to inspire donations, telling the story of how St Catherine’s cared for her mum from 2022 to 2023.
“We’re thrilled to be supporting this small but mighty charity and hope to once again surpass our fundraising target while taking agents on an epic Greek adventure.”
Have you got what it takes? Register your interest to take part in the challenge by completing the form below. Lucky agents will be chosen by March 31. Participants will be responsible for their own fundraising.
