A total of 80 partners and advisors came together at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square
Virtuoso brought together more than 80 partners, travel agency members and advisors from across the UK and Ireland for its annual On Tour event last week.
The event, held at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, was one of the network’s “largest and most impactful” regional gatherings, the brand said.
Virtuoso On Tour events are designed to connect advisors with supplier partners to showcase new product and enhance working relationships within the network.
A total of 36 advisors from 19 member agencies met with partners including Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Anguilla Tourist Board, La Casa de la Playa, Royal Hotel Sanremo and Kerzner International.
Attendees heard from Karen Joyce, Virtuoso’s general manager for the UK and Ireland, and took part in a professional development session. The event also featured a presentation by Virtuoso’s marketing manager for the UK and Ireland, Thomas Ricketts, who announced the second issue of Virtuoso, The Magazine and shared details about the network’s new Social Media Content Centre, where members and advisors can augment and scale their own social media posts.
“It was great to bring together so many of our members and preferred partners under one roof," Joyce said.
“The event sparked some fantastic conversations around evolving traveller preferences and emerging destinations, such as Croatia, India and Norway. It’s always insightful to hear how the industry continues to adapt – from the rising demand for wellness-focused experiences to an increased interest in private villas and multigenerational travel.
“As the team and I continue to focus on our growth within the region, we look forward to hosting similar events and continuing to build value for all within the network.”
