Scenic releases 2027-28 worldwide programme

A range of new itineraries have been introduced by Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours in its 2027-28 worldwide programme.

Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II will cover more than 500 ports across 63 countries in the period up until March 2028.

Highlights include: 

• New North America voyages including expanded visits across Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. 
• Voyages extended into the eastern Mediterranean with new destinations such as Alexandria.
• New itineraries covering Italy, the Aeolian Islands and Adriatic. 
• New Arctic sailings to Canada’s Hudson Bay and Churchill, renowned for its beluga whales and polar bears.
• Both yachts deployed in Antarctica allowing for more frequent departures and varied routes. Itineraries offer helicopter access to locations like Snow Hill Island to visit the Emperor penguin colony.
• New themed voyages such as culinary, wellness and ‘Broadway at Sea’.
• Extended grand voyages of up to 60 nights in duration.

Scenic Group ocean deployment vice president Claudius Docekal said: “Since launching our Discovery Yachts, we’ve continued to reimagine what’s possible in ultra-luxury ocean exploration. 

“With the new 2027–28 season, we’re taking our journeys further than ever before.

“For the first time, Scenic Eclipse will explore Canada’s Hudson Bay and the storied landscapes of Egypt, two incredible additions that open up entirely new worlds for our guests. 

“We’ve also introduced more grand voyages and flexible back-to-back sailings, giving travellers the opportunity to see and do more in one seamless experience. 

“Every itinerary has been carefully designed to offer something unique, whether that’s flying over polar icescapes in a helicopter or tracing ancient history along the Nile.”

Discovery operations director Jason Flesher added: “The 2027-28 season will be our eighth in Antarctica and Scenic Eclipse remains unmatched in terms of the unrivalled discovery meets ultra-luxury guest experience. 

“Only Scenic Eclipse provides a four-dimensional view of the White Continent: on water by zodiac, kayak and stand-up paddleboard; on land walking amongst the unique wildlife; underwater in the Scenic Neptune submersibles and beyond the horizon with our two on board helicopters.
