One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana will welcome guests from November 18
Reservations have opened for One&Only’s first property in the US.
One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana is accepting bookings from November 18.
Located in Big Sky in southern Montana, an hour from Yellowstone National Park, the opening also marks the brand’s first ski resort.
It will feature 72 rooms and suites, 19 cabins and 62 private homes.
There will also be six bars and restaurants, including renowned chef Akira Back’s namesake Japanese venue.
The resort’s ski lodge, One&Only Sky Lodge, started welcoming guests in December last year to offer guests a “sneak peek” ahead of the property’s official opening.
It features restaurant and bar The Landing and a retail space offering ski wear and equipment.
The resort and lodge are connected to the Madison Base area of Big Sky Resort via the One&Only Gondola.
Guests also have access to Madison 8, a new eight-seat chairlift that offers double uphill capacity and reduced ride time.
Mark Kirby, president of One&Only, said: “We are thrilled to announce One&Only Moonlight Basin is now accepting reservations, inviting guests to experience a new era of hospitality in the heart of the Montana Rockies.
“Our first alpine resort seamlessly blends refined hospitality with the untamed beauty of nature, offering an unparalleled escape for adventurers and luxury seekers alike.”
Chief executive of One&Only’s parent company Kerzner International, Philippe Zuber, added: “One&Only has set soaring standards in ultra-luxury hospitality – unlocking each destination with integrity, innovation and individuality. We are thrilled to extend this legacy to our first property in the United States with One&Only Moonlight Basin, an unexpected contemporary architectural marvel in the breathtaking landscapes of Montana.
“Deeply embedded in the wilderness of the American West, our first alpine resort offers unrivalled access to the pristine ski slopes, hiking trails and outdoor adventures, creating an exceptional year-round escape for guests.”
