Operator saw a 71% increase in Q1 sales compared to 2025
Luxury tour operator Red Savannah has reported its “best booking period on record” for Q1 of 2026.
The brand saw a 71% increase in bookings compared with the same period in 2025, with specific growth areas including Africa and Latin America, where enquiries grew by 45% year on year and bookings more than doubled.
Europe also saw “significant growth”, particularly in the field of villa rentals, of which sales are up by almost 50%.
Red Savannah, in part, credits this growth to its “elevated service tiers” for villa bookings. The Signature Collection and Reserve Estates categories offer services “on a par with five-star hotels”, including private chefs and concierges.
The operator has also seen a 32% year-on-year rise in the number of bookings from travel agents, as it “expands its network” of trade partners across the UK and US.
Founder and chief executive George Morgan-Grenville attributes the growth to “consistently high service combined with an extraordinary level of prescriptive expertise from Red Savannah’s team of travel designers”, each of whom has more than 10 years’ industry experience.
He said: “We are delighted with these results although, like most of us in the industry, we are concerned by the current level of geopolitical turbulence and especially the ability of the global supply chain to deal with issues around fuel shortages.
“Our focus will be highly orientated towards delivery over the coming months”.
