Flights to depart from Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol, Berlin, Frankfurt, Zurich and Muscat
Qatar Airways will operate a limited flight schedule to Doha on Monday (March 9) following authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority of a temporary “safe operating corridor”.
The flights will depart from Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol, Berlin, Frankfurt, Zurich and Muscat to Hamad International Airport and are only for passengers whose final destination is Doha.
The airline stressed the flights “do not constitute a confirmation of resumption of scheduled commercial operations”.
Passengers are being urged not to travel to their departure airport unless they hold a valid ticket for travel.
Qatar Airways also operated a handful of repatriation flights today (March 8), which departed from Hamad International Airport to Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Heathrow and Zurich.
Priority on these flights was given to stranded passengers with families, elderly passengers, and those with urgent medical and compassionate travel needs.
An airline spokesperson said: “The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority during this period of disruption.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the current situation, which is beyond our control, and thank our passengers for their patience and understanding.”
