Ponant Yachting will comprise a fleet of three catamarans to sail from late 2026
Ponant Explorations Group has unveiled a new yacht brand, whose fleet will include newly acquired vessel Spirit of Ponant II.
Ponant Yachting, which is the group’s fourth brand, will operate three catamarans by late 2026 and pitch at families and groups of friends.
The fleet, which will also include Spirit of Ponant and La Désirade, will sail to destinations in the Mediterranean, the Seychelles, the Caribbean and Polynesia.
Ponant Explorations Group chief executive Hervé Gastinel said the new brand “combines the intimate experience of sailing with the sophisticated and personalised services of Ponant Explorations Group voyages”.
The Ponant Yachting catamarans will have a crew of four, with a capacity of nine to 12 guests.
All-inclusive features of the sailings will include exclusive itineraries, personalised activities, “refined gastronomy”, a selection of wines and cocktails, bespoke menus and a wide range of nautical activities.
France-built Spirit of Ponant II, measuring 24.97m in length and offering five double staterooms, is part of the new Lagoon EIGHTY 2 series, described as combining “contemporary design and exceptional comfort”.
The vessel, the group’s 22nd, will operate its maiden sailing to Polynesia in late 2026.
