Operator hopes deal will make villa holidays ‘more accessible’
Villa specialist Oliver’s Travels has partnered with Travel Counsellors to help “make villa holidays more accessible to agents”.
The collaboration will allow Oliver’s Travels access to Travel Counsellors’ global network of advisors, with a goal to “help agents sell villas with greater ease” and “increase bookings through dedicated support, expertise and training”.
The deal comes as a result of “evolving traveller behaviours” that have resulted in rising demand for holidays that offer “privacy and space”.
The two brands have already seen “strong” engagement following news of the partnership, suggesting “a high growth prospect”.
Oliver’s Travels distribution and travel advisor manager Fern Higgins said: “We’ve been incredibly encouraged by the response from the Travel Counsellors network. In just the first week, we’ve seen over 200 agents sign up and more than £110,000 in booking intent, which really demonstrates the appetite for high-quality villa product within this community.
“This partnership is about making villas more accessible and easier to sell for agents, backed by our expertise and on-the-ground support. We see huge potential to grow together and make Oliver’s Travels a go-to villa partner for Travel Counsellors globally.”
Carol Hooley, retail partner manager at Travel Counsellors, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Oliver’s Travels to expand our villa offering for customers. Their curated portfolio and expertise in this space make them a strong fit for our personalised approach to travel planning.
“The early response from our Travel Counsellors has been very positive, and we’re excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for our business owners to deliver even more exceptional holiday experiences for their clients.”
