Season will see launch of fourth ship, maiden ports and debut of Alaska
Explora Journeys’ 2027 season will see the launch of the luxury line’s fourth ship alongside maiden ports in the Mediterranean and the addition of Alaska to its destination portfolio.
The brand’s ‘An Ocean of New’ season will run from March to November 2027.
Upcoming ship Explora IV will be LNG-powered and will featured redesigned spaces; expanded public areas, including expansive outdoor decks; and an increased number of large residences.
For its inaugural season the ship will sail across western and northern Europe, Iceland, Greenland, the US and Canada.
Meanwhile, Explora I and II will offer more than 60 journeys in the Mediterranean, including maiden ports such as Croatia’s Trogir and Toper in Slovenia.
Explora Journeys’ summer 2027 season will also see the launch of Alaska as a new destination for the line, with Explora III departing round-trip from Vancouver, Canada, on two new itineraries.
The first journey, from May 10-21, will include glacier-carved fjords and forested islands, visiting Sitka, Prince Rupert and Endicott Arm. On July 2-16, Explora III will visit Hubbard Glacier, Kodiak and the Indigenous community of Alert Bay.
Explora Journeys’ president Anna Nash said: “With the intention of savouring every moment, our summer 2027 journeys have been thoughtfully crafted, as always, to enable flexibility, extended stays and deeper immersion at a gentler pace. We are thrilled to be introducing Alaska for the very first time, and to be offering many of our 2027 journeys on two of our ultra-elegant new ships, Explora III and IV.”
