Corinthia Borgo di Perolla is expected to open in 2030
Corinthia Hotels has unveiled plans to develop and operate its third hotel in Italy.
Corinthia Borgo di Perolla will be set in the Tuscan countryside on the 13th-century Perolla Estate, transforming a collection of historic buildings into a luxury resort.
The property, which is scheduled to open in 2030, will feature 80 rooms, suites and villas centred around a piazza that “fosters connection and conviviality”.
There will also be a collection of restaurants that “celebrate local cuisine” with a farm-to-table philosophy and use of organic produce farmed on the estate.
Corinthia Borgo di Perolla will feature dedicated wellness and event spaces, including a restored historic chapel for weddings and private celebrations.
Guests at the hotel will have easy access to the medieval town of Massa Marittima, the coast, the beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, and the region’s hot springs.
The property will mark a “significant addition to the brand’s growing Italian portfolio”, joining Corinthia Rome, which opened earlier this month, and Corinthia Lake Como, which is scheduled to debut in 2028.
Simon Naudi, group chief executive of Corinthia Group, said: “As our third property in Italy, Borgo di Perolla, Tuscany marks an important step in strengthening Corinthia’s presence in this wonderful market.
“It will be a destination shaped by its environment, its community and its heritage – brought to life through a shared vision of sustainable luxury and meaningful guest experiences.”
