Capella Hotel Group has named Rolan Fasel as its new president.
Fasel will assume the role from April 6 amid plans to double the Capella Hotels and Resorts and Patina Hotels & Resorts portfolio by 2030.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality to the role, having most recently served as group chief operations officer at high-end hotel group Maybourne, which includes Claridge’s, The Connaught Hotel, The Berkeley and more.
Fasel has also previously held positions at Aman Resorts, Dorchester Collection and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
His new role will involve overseeing “operational excellence” and “brand integrity”.
