Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel, is scheduled for closure from January 2026 to summer 2027
Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel, is set for closure from January 2026 until summer 2027 to undergo a renovation.
The development will focus on elevating the property’s accommodation, culinary experiences and garden landscaping.
Ahead of its closure, the hotel will host a series of events, including A Day of Wellbeing with wellness expert Jo Tuffrey, an exclusive tasting menu with guest chef Hélène Darroze and a Veuve Clicquot champagne dinner.
There will also be a number of Christmas events such as wreath-making workshops and carol concerts.
The property’s founder Raymond Blanc will take on the role of lifetime ambassador, continuing his “lifelong mission of creating an innovative and responsible business for the future”.
Blanc said: “Le Manoir has been the canvas of my life’s work, a sanctuary where passion, excellence and beauty have come to life every single day for over four decades. Together with my extraordinary team, we have built something truly timeless.
“The redevelopment will allow Le Manoir to evolve for the future, to meet the needs of the modern guest while staying true to its soul and values. It is not simply a renovation, but a reinvestment in sustainability, in creativity and in the spirit of excellence that has defined us.”
The property’s refurbishment joins other renovation projects across Belmond’s portfolio, including at Italian hotels Villa San Michele in Florence, Splendido in Portofino and Hotel Cipriani in Venice as well as Maroma in Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
