Launch marks 10th outpost of the 1950s New York-inspired Italian venue
Atlantis The Royal has confirmed October 6 as the opening date for its latest dining venue, Carbone.
The 1950s New York-inspired Italian restaurant, owned by luxury hospitality company Major Food Group (MFG), originally opened in New York in 2012 and has since expanded globally.
The outpost at Atlantis The Royal marks the group’s first venue in the UAE and its 10th worldwide, following shortly after its debut in London at Chancery Rosewood on September 17.
Carbone Dubai’s interiors were designed by MFG’s long-term partner designer Ken Fulk in collaboration with Dubai-based firm Bishop Design, in order to replicate the restaurant chain’s recognised aesthetic.
The venue’s dining room will be “elegantly adorned with chandeliers, a curated art collection, velvety jewel-toned nooks, leather banquettes and damask-adorned walls with Venetian glass mirrors”.
There will also be a bar area with “plush, vibrantly coloured seating to create an inviting, social atmosphere”.
Reservations for Carbone Dubai are now open
