Relais & Châteaux resort will welcome guests from November 1
Curtain Bluff resort in Antigua will reopen on November 1 following a “multi-million-dollar transformation”.
The Relais & Châteaux property’s 42 suites – including the Grace and Morris Bay suites – have all been redesigned, with “English styling” and “Caribbean-inspired colour palettes” across the furnishings and pieces of original artwork.
The open-air, beachfront restaurant Sea Grape has also undergone a renovation, with a blue and white tiled centrepiece bar and casual lounge-style seating added.
A glass-enclosed, air-conditioned dining area has also been installed to cater for family-style buffets by day and “ambient dining experiences” in the evenings.
Bentley airport transfers for guests are also being introduced when the hotel reopens.
The renovations began after British entrepreneurs Tim and Pat Scott took over ownership in November 2024.
The property’s managing director Rob Sherman said: “As we prepare to open our doors for the 64th season, our entire Curtain Bluff family cannot wait to welcome our guests in to experience this new chapter for the resort.
“From redesigned guest rooms to a reimagined beachfront dining space, these newest updates are reflective of our passion and priority for creating lasting experiences for every guest who walks through our doors – whether they’ve been visiting for years or are newly discovering Curtain Bluff.”
