The Leading Hotels of the World member The Revery to offer ‘safari-inspired’ stays
New coastal property The Revery is set to open in the southwestern Chania area of Crete on June 1.
The property, which is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, will aim to “redefine barefoot luxury” with 24 “safari-inspired” Revery Wild tented pavilions and clifftop Revery Suites.
The former will be located near the shore with outdoor decks and hydrotherapy pools, while the latter will be slightly larger with alfresco patios and private heated pools.
The hotel’s “most elevated accommodation option” The Revery Villa will accommodate up to six guests across two bedrooms and two sofa beds, with a kitchen, barbecue, outdoor dining area and panoramic infinity pool.
Cliffside restaurant Fílema will use produce from local farmers at breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving local dishes with sea views.
The Roée Spa will be inspired by “Crete’s ancient traditions of healing through nature”, with four treatment rooms using botanical ingredients.
A thermal area will feature a sauna, steam room and hot and cold baths, while guests can also enjoy an open-air yoga deck and mediation paths through the gardens.
Guests will be able to explore the “lesser-explored” area through guided hikes and 4x4 safaris, while windsurfing, private boat trips, fishing excursions, stargazing experiences and craft workshops with local artisans will also be available.
The property also adopts a “low-impact design”, utilising solar energy, eco-conscious materials, water-saving systems and replantation of native flowers.
