Launch follows ‘strong demand’ for this year’s inaugural voyage from the two AKTG brands
Sister brands Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) and Crystal have unveiled 10 new sailings for 2027 following “strong demand” for the partnership’s inaugural voyage departing in August.
Itineraries will combine sailings on board Crystal Serenity (pictured) and Crystal Symphony with “a programme of exclusive events” created by A&K, including special dinners and expert-led lectures.
A&K guests will also have access to a range of shore excursions designed by the operator’s network of local specialists, with experiences structured to “support local communities and create direct cultural connections”.
Each itinerary will begin with a two-night stay at a luxury hotel selected by A&K, before guests board the ship to sail in one of the Sapphire Veranda Suites. Solo travellers will be accommodated in Aquamarine Veranda Suites at no single supplement.
Among the new itineraries is the 10-day ‘Ancient Greece and the Adriatic’ sailing, which will see guests begin their trip in Athens with two nights at King George, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens, before boarding Crystal Symphony. The ship will then sail the coasts of Greece, Montenegro and Croatia between May 2 and 11, 2027. Prices start from £15,380 per person.
From April 8 to 23, 2027, ‘An Epic Voyage Around Southeast Asia’ will explore Ho Chi Minh City and Manila, as well as the rainforests of Brunei and islands of Malaysia. The 16-day itinerary, including a pre-cruise stay at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok starts from £19,545 per person.
Elsewhere, the 12-day ‘Cosmopolitan Coasts of the Mediterranean’ begins in Barcelona and ends in Rome, offering “VIP experiences” in Cannes and Montecarlo, as well as opportunities to visit the Cinque Terre and Pisa. The itinerary runs from September 20 and October 1, 2027, and starts at £18,460 per person.
AKTG chief product officer Fernando Delgado said: “The overwhelming demand for our 2026 pilot voyage demonstrated something extraordinary. Guests instantly connected with the combination of A&K’s deep cultural expertise and Crystal’s unparalleled onboard atmosphere.
“That success gave us the momentum to expand into 2027 with even more departures, more destinations and more opportunities for travellers to experience cultural exploration with both brands at their very best.”
